Other Ways to Give

While we deeply appreciate your financial gifts and book donations, we also welcome and value your donation of time and effort. Volunteer opportunities are available in the following areas:

• Cleaning and disinfecting of children’s interactives and toys
• Organizing book and material stacks, aka “shelf-reading”
• Accompanying your certified therapy dog to a children’s reading program
• Staffing the Foundation’s annual Bookin’ 5K Race and Fun Walk
• Helping with the ongoing organization of the Friends’ book sale area
• Serving as a student assistant for children’s and youth programs

Note: all adult volunteers must pass a criminal background check prior to commencement of volunteer service.
