First Chapter Friday (Virtual) ...
in Virtual Program
The Friends of Wadsworth Public Library raises funds to support Library programs and operations through its popular biannual book sales, membership drives and other fund raising activities.
You can support the work of the friends by donating gently used books, movies, and compact discs. Money raised by the Friends is especially vital to our annual summer reading program which is strongly focused on early literacy for children and continuity of reading development for older youth.
In addition to donating books and joining the Friends, you can also give of your time. Our biannual book sales are labor intensive, powered by the hard work of dedicated volunteers. Behind the scenes preparation for our book sales is ongoing, all year long. Contact the Friends today to find out how you can start volunteering now.
Complete and mail the above application with your payment. New and renewing members receive a Coffee with Friends memberships perk card, V.I.P. access to the twice annual members' preview book sales, and 10% off all book sale purchases.
New and renewing members now receive a Coffee with Friends membership perks card worth roughly $10 in freebies and discounts at Scenic River, Sonnets, and Valley Cafe.
The Friends of WPL are always looking for dedicated volunteers to help with the group's twice annual book sales and ongoing curation of the books by donation room on the first floor of the Library. Please email email@example.com or call the Library Director at 330.335.1299 to find out how you can start volunteering today.
