The Friends of Wadsworth Public Library raises funds to support Library programs and operations through its popular biannual book sales, membership drives and other fund raising activities.
You can support the work of the Friends by donating gently used books, movies, and compact discs or by making a financial donation. Money raised by the Friends is especially vital to the library's annual summer reading program which is strongly focused on early literacy for children and continuity of reading development for older youth.
In addition to donating books and joining the Friends, you can also give of your time. Our biannual book sales are powered by the hard work of dedicated volunteers. Behind the scenes preparation for our book sales is ongoing, all year long. Contact the Friends today to find out how you can start volunteering now.
Complete and mail the above application with your payment. Your membership dues are just one more way you can help support the mission of the Friends. Active members enjoy admission to our "Members Only" book sale preview nights, which occur the evening before the sales are open to the public.
The Friends of WPL are always looking for dedicated volunteers to help with the group's book sales. This includes sorting books, stocking book store shelves and working the book sales. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Library Director at 330.335.1299 to find out how you can start volunteering today.
