Early Literacy

With annual family  and children’s program attendance of over 20,0000, early literacy programming at Wadsworth Public Library touches many lives in our commuunity. Donations help us to secure the supplies and services which enhance quality and capacity in this area. Getting children and their families excited about reading is important work which builds the foundation of lifelong learning.

Lifelong Learning & Curiosity

We work to combine the traditional and evolving modes of learning, exploration and discovery with a deep sense of who our patrons are, what library services are needed, and which are most appropriate for our community. Donations help us to explore and/or implement enhancements to our programs, facilities and services that optimize our usefulness and impact.

Lifelong Reading

At our core, we remain deeply committed to literacy and the lifelong enjoyment of reading. The circulation of tangible materials, such as books, remains steady alongside the growth of digital borrowing (more costly on a per item basis). Donations help to offset costs, allowing us to commit more public dollars to the core responsibility of developing a diverse circulating collection.
