There are oceans of possibilities at the Library this summer! Dive into reading this summer at the Library by joining our Summer Reading Club. There's something for everyone and readers of all ages. 

Registration for all ages, kids birth through 18 begins on Friday, May 26. Readers can register in person, at the Library, or online. Once children's summer reading club registration is complete, please stop in the children's department to pick up your bag and reading log. Log your reading June 4 through July 29. Bring your logs back to the Library and earn a prize every time you read for 10 days!

Registration is not required to participate in the Adult Summer Reading Club. The club is simple - just read or listen for more chances to WIN! Log your reading starting on June 4 using the link below or call the Reference desk at 330-334-5761. Every time you read or listen to a book (print or digital) your name will be entered into a raffle for things like books, local gift cards, and WPL merch for every entry. Raffles will be drawn weekly starting June 11.

We want to encourage you to read with your young child to help them develop, learn & grow. The program is simple - for every 10 reading days, they win a prize. Go at your own pace and just keep reading!

Summer Reading Club: Ages 3–Grade 6

Encouraging children to read every day throughout the summer is the best way to keep their brains active and avoid the summer slide! We want to encourage healthy reading habits so children in our community grow up to be lifelong readers. In this program, we are challenging you to read for at least 20 minutes per day. For every 10 reading days, you win a prize - it's that simple! 

Prizes:
10 days: Pick a prize*
20 days: Book
30 days: Pick a prize*
40 days: Pick a prize*
50 days: Book and coupon for free Kona Ice on August 5, 5:30 - 8:30pm

*Includes paddle ball games, neon putty, mini-snake cubes, super balls, and water soaker balls.

Teen Summer Reading Club: Grade 7–12

Who says Summer Reading Club is just for kids? Not us! We want to encourage all of our community's youth to keep reading throughout the summer. Teens are challenged to read for 20 minutes a day. For every 10 reading days, you win a prize - it's that simple!

30 days: Doughnut Coupon
40 days: Book
50 days: Gift card

Adult Summer Reading Club: Ages 18+

You're never too old for Summer Reading Club! Registration IS NOT required for Adult Summer Reading Club. Start logging your reading on Sunday, June 4. Readers can log books in person at the Library or online.
