Toddler Story Time

Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

This story time is developed with wiggly toddlers in mind. There will be plenty of songs and movements to keep them interested as well as age appropriate books.

Examples of skills explored in these sessions are:

• Color recognition
• Rhyme recognition
• Shape recognition
• Taking turns
• Phonetic awareness
• Letter recognition
• Number recognition
• Counting skills

Toddlers may not always sit for story time, but they are absorbing the stories and songs being presented. We'll have plenty of opportunities for movement to keep even the wiggliest of toddlers engaged. These sessions aren't just for kids! Parents and caregivers can learn helpful tips and tricks for sharing stories and early literacy skills with their children. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate and engage with their children during the story times.
