Art for Homeschool Families

Learning through art.

Experience an art program designed for homeschool families. Each session will feature one famous artist and children will learn about their life, times and artistic style. After a presentation, children will have a chance to create their own piece of art that celebrates the featured artist.

Artists featured in previous sessions are:

  • Grandma Moses
  • The Anasazi Tribe
  • Johannes Vermeer
  • Wassily Kandinsky
  • Claude Monet
  • Piet Mondrian
  • Frank Lloyd Wright
  • Romare Bearden
  • Charles Schulz

This is also a great opportunity to meet other homeschool families. Curriculum notes and handouts will be available if needed.

All ages are welcome and no registration is required. For more information, please call the Children’s, Youth & Outreach Services Department at 330.335.1295.
