Pumpkin Decorating Contest - Scare on the Square 2021

Entries must be dropped off on October 20 or 21 at the Wadsworth Public Library, no later than 4pm on October 21. Pumpkins must be submitted with the entry form. Entry forms can be picked up at the Library. Wadsworth Public Library staff members and their immediately family are welcome to enter creations for exhibition but are not eligible to win prizes.

Objects, paper, and materials of any kind may be pinned, glued, or attached to pumpkins. Pumpkins can be carved, painted, or decorated in any way. No electrical devices or open flames may be used. Pumpkins must be appropriate for viewing by all ages, free from profanity or otherwise inappropriate content.

Pumpkins will be on display from 5-7pm during the Scare on the Square event. Anyone may vote for their favorite pumpkin. Prizes will be awarded for the top three favorite pumpkins.

Pumpkins should be picked up at the Library immediately following the contest (7:30pm on October 21). The Library reserves the right to dispose of any pumpkin that is not collected at that time.
