100th Anniversary Logo Contest

We are busy preparing to honor our past by celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Wadsworth Public Library which will commence in January of 2026. As a part of the celebration, we invite our community to design a logo that depicts their favorite decade in WPL history.

All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to enter. Winners will be selected by members of the Library Board of Trustees and prizes will be awarded in the following age categories:

• Children: Ages 5-12
• Teens: 13-17
• Adults 18+
• Professional Designers/Artists

Winners will receive a gift card to a local business sponsored by the Friends of the Wadsworth Public Library and have their logo featured in promotional materials throughout the 2026 celebration year.

Submissions Accepted: December 1 - February 1

Contest Rules & Criteria

Winners will be selected by members of the Library Board of Trustees based on the following criteria:

• Creativity of design
• Skill / difficulty level
• Narrative / reason why you selected time period / decade
• All artwork submitted in the contest becomes property of the Wadsworth Public Library and may be used for print and digital promotions as deemed appropriate by the Wadsworth Public Library. Original artwork will not be returned.
• Content must be appropriate for all ages

• Digital submissions can be emailed to 100years@wadsworthlibrary.com
• Hard copies can be submitted to the front desk. Please be sure to complete an entry form (available at the front desk).
