The Library is governed by a 7-member, volunteer Board of Trustees, appointed by the Wadsworth City School District Board of Education. Trustees are appointed to a 7-year term. The Board is entrusted with authorizing the policies, budgets and plans that govern the efficient delivery of quality public library service in the Wadsworth community.
The Board of Trustees meets on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Library’s meeting room. Alternate meeting dates and locations are posted on the Library’s public bulletin board. All meetings of the Board and its committees are open to the public, excluding executive sessions for purposes approved by law.

If a resident wishes to share additional comments, they may schedule an appointment with the Library Director, who will share a summary of that meeting either to the appropriate Committee or to the Board of Trustees.

Public Records Requests
Members of the public may request to view and/or copy certain public records. Ohio Sunshine Laws govern public access to the records of Ohio's public institutions and outline the procedures by which governing bodies hold and record the proceedings of their meetings.
