WPL Blog

From now until Thanksgiving, the Library invites you to decorate thank-you cards which will be shared with military service personnel currently serving overseas and with local veterans. Cards are available at the Customer Service Desk and at the Children's Department Reference Desk. Return your decorated cards to the Library, and we will see that your thanks is sent on its way.

It was awesome to say thank you to a soldier, I just wish that he could write back.

Thank you for participating! The cards were sent to a unit that includes a relative of our Children's Manager. I am certain that he and his fellow soldiers appreciated your kind thoughts!
