Reference Services
The reference department provides quick, factual, and up-to-date information on many subjects. We provide access to many databases, including several full-text magazines, newspapers and journals, in addition to print material such as:
- Dictionaries and encyclopedias
- Telephone and criss-cross directories
- Business and investment materials
- Ohio legal materials
- Automotive repair books and, on the library's computers, an electronic database for auto repair: Auto Repair Reference Center.
We're not only here for research-related questions, however; the reference department is also available to help you obtain library materials, either by helping you locate them, or by placing them on reserve through Search Ohio.
You may request information in person, by phone, by e-mail... or try Know It Now for instant answers!
