Studies have demonstrated that coloring geometrically structured shapes in a relaxing environment reduces anxiety. In this era of constant communication, there is a growing public demand for opportunities to unplug to gain balance and perspective in our technologically saturated world. Join us for a monthly Coloring Meditation Hour, where we’ll provide the colored pencils and coloring books, and you may unwind to soothing music, aromatherapy and herbal tea, compliments of the Library.
