Just in time for Valentine’s day, the Book Was Better Club will watch and discuss Me Before You. Young and quirky Louisa "Lou" Clark moves from one job to the next to help her family make ends meet. Louisa, having difficulty finding steady work, accepts a job through her local job center. Soon, her cheerful attitude is put to the test when she becomes a caregiver for Will Traynor, a wealthy young banker left paralyzed from an accident two years earlier. Their relationship starts out strained due to Will’s attitude due to his accident, but Will's cynical outlook starts to change when Louisa shows him that life is worth living.
