Marcus Messner fled his home in New Jersey to enroll as a student at Ohio’s Winesburg College. Marcus needed to escape his paranoid father, who fears the world. Marcus, now adrift in Ohio, is not accustomed to the customs and contradictions of the world when he meets fellow student Olivia Hutton. Olivia is much more experienced with the world, and Marcus is quickly infatuated.
