MOVIE MATINEE @ THE LIBRARY - Brooklyn

In collaboration with the Center for Older Adults the Library presents a monthly movie for all to enjoy. This month we will be viewing Brooklyn. Eilis Lacey (Saoirse Ronan) is a young girl who immigrates to New York from Ireland. Despite a traumatic sea passage, she begins to make a new life for herself, even meeting and falling in love with an Italian-American named Tony. When a family disaster brings her back to Ireland, she becomes torn between her old and new lives. Brooklyn is the heart-warming story of a girl discovering herself and her place in the world.
